The Progressive Iranians Party in the making

The Progressive Iranians Party is a political, programme-driven institution formed to organise democratic action on Iran's path to a secular, law-bound and accountable state. We hold that how a transition is made matters as much as where it arrives, and that a transition without public participation and guaranteed rights can reproduce authoritarianism. The party understands freedom as bound to social justice, and puts forward a programme for reducing inequality, strengthening labour rights, gender equality and regional justice. The party's preparatory council invites every concerned Iranian to take part in building a modern, responsible party for a free, just and equal future.

    Expanding systematic, knowledge-based participation through the Progressive Thought as an intellectual and research platform.

  • چرا حزب؟

    سپیدنامه، سیاست بدون نهاد و سازمان‌یابی را یکی از موانع تغییر پایدار می‌داند. اعتراض و مطالبات، بدون نمایندگی سیاسی، فرسوده یا مصادره شده و امید سیاسی به اشخاص و چهره‌ها گره ‌می‌خورد. حزب بستری برای تبدیل مطالبات اجتماعی به برنامه و کنش جمعی پایدار، انباشت تجربه و مهار قدرت است. از این رو، تشکل و تحزب یکی از ابزارهای ضروری تامین عاملیت مردم است.

  • موضع پیشرو درباره جنگ و مداخله خارجی چیست؟

    پیشرو هرگونه جنگ، اشغال یا مداخله برای تحمیل تصمیم سیاسی از بیرون بر جامعه ایران را رد می‌کند. مخالفت با جنگ به معنای دفاع از جمهوری اسلامی یا پذیرش تداوم سرکوب نیست. این حزب بر حفاظت از جان مردم، پاسخ‌گویی عاملان جنایت و حق تعیین سرنوشت تأکید دارد و میان مداخله نظامی با همبستگی بین‌المللی، حمایت حقوق‌بشری و پیگیری قضایی جنایت‌ها تفاوت می‌گذارد.

  • پیشرو چه نوع گذاری از جمهوری اسلامی را دنبال می‌کند؟

    پیشرو گذار را فرایندی ملی، جمعی و فراحزبی می‌داند که هیچ فرد یا جریانی حق مصادره آن را ندارد. قواعد اعمال، مهار و انتقال قدرت باید پیش از تعیین شکل نهایی نظام تثبیت شوند. نهادهای انتقالی باید موقت، دارای اختیارات محدود و تحت نظارت مستقل باشند. تضمین حقوق بنیادین، گفت‌وگوی فراگیر، عدالت انتقالی و شکل‌گیری نهادهای منتخب، اجزای ضروری این مسیرند.

  • پیشرو درباره دادخواهی و رسیدگی به جنایت‌های گذشته چه موضعی دارد؟

    پیشرو از عدالت انتقالی مستقل دفاع می‌کند؛ فرایندی شامل حقیقت‌یابی، شنیدن روایت قربانیان، رسیدگی به مسئولیت آمران و عاملان، جبران خسارت، اصلاح نهادها و تضمین عدم تکرار. دادخواهی نباید به انتقام یا معامله بر سر مصونیت تبدیل شود. این حزب دادرسی عادلانه و حقوق متهمان را ضروری می‌داند و با شکنجه و مجازات اعدام، حتی در رسیدگی به سنگین‌ترین جنایت‌ها، مخالف است.
